fanboyremixheaderLadies and Gentlemen welcome to the inaugural post of the Fanboy Remix, riffing on anything and everything comics. Having read comics for nearly 10 years I’ve seen firsthand many trends come and go. There have been great highs, and even some unsightly lows in my reading history, but one thing still remains true: I love comics. I love everything about them; the good, the bad and the ugly.

So, now that you know a little about me, what can you expect from the Fanboy Remix in the future? Here are just a few of the things you will come to find here:

  • opinions
  • analysis
  • reader suggestions
  • lists
  • and more!

At its core, this column will serve as a place for me to spill my knowledge on the proverbial canvas. Comics are a medium that needs to be shared, and I aim to share it with all of you. So, come along for the ride and hopefully you will find something useful and worthwhile in this column.

Before I sign off (for now) I want to thank all of the staff at readcomicbooks.net for giving me the opportunity to contribute to this wonderful site chock full of comic goodies. I feel like I’m with well company and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and opinions on this wonderful medium.

So please check back every Thursday for new posts and one last thing…

Happy reading.

Robert Gaul is a simple man with simple tastes. He loves nothing more than pairing a good comic with a good beer, as well as traveling and being with friends. He grew up in a small town in the Midwest surrounded by Batman cartoons, comics and toys and still loves the character to this day. Him and his brother could talk about the Dark Knight for hours. Recently he ventured off into the independent scene and has been loving all the variety and amazing stories he's finding. Robert currently works as a designer for a book publisher in the Twin Cities where he also resides with his wife.
