As reported by USA Today, Scott Snyder and Jim Lee’s new Superman series will be titled Superman Unchained and it’s set to debut in June. Also coming down the tube for Superman is the upcoming series from Greg Pak and Jae Lee Batman/Superman. This is certainly going to be one hell of a 75th birthday for the Man of Steel–don’t forget about the movie of the same name–so make sure you stay tuned for more Superman news as we get it!

Artist for Superman Unchained Jim Lee had this to say:

“We’re all fans and we’ve all known this character for a long time,” Jim Lee says. “You have to fight your natural tendency to do what you know or what you’ve always thought the character to be. We’ve been pushing the creators to not be beholden to the past conceits and understandings of Superman”, he adds. “So we will speak to a new generation of readers.”
